My thoughts on the third Grandia I apologize if the way I presented this control is not as good as my other reviews.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZ7F5zVeXS8&hl=en

Before reading this article, let me say that I am not associated with Capcom in any way similar. I wrote my opinions with the intent of a real idea of how I feel in a game. I believe that games numbered scores rank, but I know that a game would score on a factor derived feel and that is pleasure.

Ace Attorney: Miles Edgeworth is a video game for Nintendo DS. You may or may not have heard of this game, or be awarewhich is one of a series of games in the Ace Attorney series. If you have not done in the history that made Oasis Ace Attorney, which is why you need at least your feet wet.

First, the fame that has the Ace Attorney series. Capcom, publisher of the game, is the statement that the series has shifted 3.8 million units worldwide exhibitions. To view some of Capcom's Ace Attorney series is counted as the ninth best-selling book of all time. These games belong to the sameClass as the big names like Capcom's Street Fighter and Resident Evil. Here are some reasons for prestige Ace Attorney are justified.

Consider the last entry in the series, Miles Edgeworth. The game, like its predecessor is the Phoenix Wright series, linear. This means that there is a coherent narrative that the developers wanted players to communicate. Some players might mock the game, the lack of narrative threads more results like those found in Bethesda's Fallout 3Mass Effect by BioWare, and I say, shut up.

There is a very clear difference between a single story with great care, the use of literary techniques and a series of loosely connected stories, which makes producing a small amount of satisfaction for the reader. I am not a literary scholar, but I can see between an experience that I liked and what I have. That said, I can announce that I would rather read a short, remember that a single work as a long, assembling together of children's books, which determines collect dust in a metal bucket, after he failed to sell at a yard sale is ruined.

What I want is to see that the game is Ace Attorney Investigations like a good book. One might ask: "Why not just write a novel?" This is a legitimate question. What I argue is that there are aspects of the investigations that simply can not be transferred to the new format.

In particular, the gaming technology. L 'Character models and locales are varied and diverse. The personality of each character through the details of their representation go. It's not just about how they look. The animated characters in a single caricatured and really helping players identify each character as "the crazy old lady" or "class clown". Ace Attorney'character personifications can only be fully appreciated when seen.

Now you might ask a different question: "Why have not written a manga?" For those whoof you who do not know what a manga is basically a long comic. Not all manga in this share class, but many comics have an obvious problem in its early stages, and that they are trying to tell a story, but fail because they do not end. I'm sorry for the fans serialization explain, but an end is a kind of quality required for the production of written work. After an order is necessary that the author has painstakingly built its work with the intentWhich produces a reaction in their readers. Manga with "strings" to get a passport, for which there is at least as the author seems to have some kind of resolution, but with the intention of creating a new sheet after the end of the current thinking.

Ace Attorney: studies tell a story very much aware. Each "case" that the player has completed by reading a chapter of a novel. Every case is important to understand the big picture, the painting once the player reaches theGame final fall. Not only is each of relevant and necessary to prepare a resolution in single video game, the game itself is an important piece of the puzzle that is greater Ace Attorney. Everything is similar to the characters referred to in other games appear in Ace Attorney investigation and the action of the game is familiar to players of reinforcement with the series, but not unknown to those who are not.

It 'important to remember the experience for the game AceLawyer: Investigation. What exactly does? Do not turn the pages of a novel. Basically, you think about things. You think about where to look to find a piece of evidence. Think of how knowledge of the evidence you need to combine progress. Using the "logic" to create truth from falsehood. If the game is not fun? It 's hard to say. Trials and errors to produce combinations of different ideas, the "right" answer is not fun. The creation of a storyPoint of view of the impact that they have found a certain "truth" about a situation is an explosion.

Just know that the flow of research as a novel, unlike its predecessors. I found myself questioning the conclusions reached in the original Phoenix Wright games, and studies have never been really at a loss. I will take over the game. Guess if some parts of logic, the United States is how to predict the next series of events, and means to do it right, it isGain an inexplicable rush of adrenaline, which can then use to play the story than you might think.

I can not really understand the history of the game justice. You just take my word and the game. Experience. There are other great aspects of Ace Attorney, I investigated the fame as the music is not produced from 2 Grandia's Noriyuki Iwade. Enough to know that the test to play, or any other Ace Attorney game, what you get is a curecrafted a story with a resolution images and a soundtrack inspired jamming.

I want my contribution by saying that you do not play test for more than a day or two at the end. This is because the game lasts about ten hours. And 'why not also able to sell it. If the value of an experience that lasts a long time and gain time to play more for your money, do not buy Ace Attorney. Alternatively, look, if youfor one of the best experiences on a Nintendo DS, look no further.

Level: 99/99

Elder Scrolls Oblivion

If Peter Jackson directed this film and the study could be a big budget, Oblivion would be a great medieval fantasy film. There are too few medieval movie is worth buying a ticket for himself and Oblivion, the characters and the plot of a power house, which would compete in battles with The Lord of the Rings. With a lesser director, it would be just another Dungeon Siege: In the name of the king of clone.

ChronoCross

This game does not have the recognition it deserves, which had all the hallmarks of a great game: colorful characters, rich and complex, and an end to one thinks of the left. All this can translate into a great film, not only with the amount of action, but also to a dramatic level that deals with character development.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

There are many good modern war movies, and Call of Duty has some good action scenes arethe streets of the Middle East, or on a cargo ship in a stormy sea. Under the direction of good, I see this film as much as Black Hawk Down, which was not a bad movie, just not cast Josh Hartnett.

Harvest Moon

Bear with me on this, no one thinks that a breeding simulation game would be fun, but it is, and is very addictive. It will only work if too close to the games left and there were celebrations and a number of potential women to marry. To avoid boring farmScene work, you can always be mounted.

Grand Theft Auto IV

While not enough cut scenes the game, which could make a film, it would be interesting, a movie about a guy Clock "in a new place and trying to make ends meet by any means necessary. It would be like Goodfellas meets a successful general and grab film British sign on me.

Grandia

I'm talking about the one on PSX, it would be a great adventure film in which the child begins to play in itsthe streets with a wooden stick and ends up saving the world. This game encourages the restless spirit in all of us with scenes of distant lands and sail the high seas.

Wild Arms

Wild Arms western theme makes it even more interesting by interesting characters, each with its own style and swagger. Every movie has a cast of sympathetic and shooting is cool in my book, "OK."

Fallout

Presented by the same people who made Oblivion (Fallout 3 ° in each case), a film would be agreat addition to the franchise, especially to those who played the games. The Fallout series has so many great nuances it would be a treat to see people walking around drinking nuka-colas and popping buffout in the Capital Wasteland or New Reno.

Baldur's Gate

Numerous games in the series, books, and tons of other merchandise attest to the popularity of this franchise. Like Oblivion, this game is set in a medieval land and is any D&D fan's delight and the movie would have to Be sure to stay true to its roots of D & D.

Shenmue

I read somewhere that make it the most expensive video game of all time, was not sure if this came out before or after Haze, but the martial art called into Shenmue games, and has inspired many players to pick up the sport. There were scenes of great struggle in the game that could translate into a cinematic gem, and I always amusing to see the old Chinese masters pass on life lessons to students hallucinated, asUntil I see Ryo to work on the docks.

How many of you have or once had a Dreamcast? Probably most of you my age (21). When it came out, I just mooched away from my friends who had, until just my Dreamcast through trade with my friend a copy of Metal Gear Solid 2 was given for its console. Unfortunately, thanks to innovation, commercial games for cash was, I went immediately to the shop next game and sold it for $ 30. I did not realize at the time what a profound impact on the Dreamcast was the world of video gamesand how, even after almost a decade, people play their Dreamcast and its games to enjoy.

I remember NFL 2K on display at the Toys R Us and completely mesmerized. When I went to my friend's house and saw the world of Grandia II, I could not take my eyes off the screen. Dreamcast was the first next generation consoles, and showed the players a new level of graphics and gameplay not seen in previous consoles such as Nintendo 64 and Playstation. Zombiesmust be considered exactly like zombies in House of the Dead 2 and Skies of Arcadia view of role players took to new heights in terms of gameplay and graphics.

I still speculate about why the Dreamcast crashed and burned, the basis for a strong fight for a year before the PS2 came and finished them off. Despite the differences in hardware specifications between the two consoles, for me it was a discrepancy in the graph between them is difficult.

Naturally there are many factors that have contributed toDream Casts fall 'reputation was one of its main competitors, Playstation 2 players already have a Playstation tried steadfast in their loyalty to Sony and Sega, to convince them have been unsuccessful. Too many people were ahead of time that Dreamcast would win the console wars, such as imported PS2 games when the console came out were pretty awful, so his future was quite uncertain.

However, the legacy of the Dreamcast will continue to live; classics like Shenmue, SoulCalibur and Sonic are still enjoyed by gamers nostalgic. Who knows? Perhaps the objections of the players will listen and will come with what we all really want from Sega, Dreamcast seconds

I'm playing video games for more than 20 years and I took a long time to play role-playing games (RPGs) such as Final Fantasy (FF). I have compiled a list of my top 20 RPGs of all time, which can be found on games consoles. No-PC games are included in this list.

Overall I like RPGs because of its rich character development and story. With an RPG you can tell, the developers have in some time and effort to the development of the game. This is theunique feature that makes these games more exciting and enjoyable than your normal shot em 'up game.

Top 20 Games Role:

. Grandia 20 - Playstation
19. Lunar: The Silver Star - Sega CD
18. Dragon Warrior III - Nintendo
17. Xenogears - Playstation
16. Phantasy Star 4 - Sega Genesis
15. FF II - Super Nintendo
14. Suikoden - Playstation
13. Fable - Xbox
12. FF X - 2 Playstaton
11. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - SuperNintendo
10. Chrono Cross - PlayStation
09. Secret of Mana - Super Nintendo
08. FF IX - Playstation
07. FF III - Super Nintendo
06. Fallout 3 - Xbox 360
05. Legend of Zelda - Nintendo
04. Final Fantasy - Nintendo
03. Fable II - Xbox 360
02. FF VII - Playstation
01. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for Xbox 360

As you can see there are several titles that occur frequently in the RPG world. In general, all the Final Fantasy will play a good game, becausea lot of development of each book to another. Final Fantasy is a long line that leads back to the Eighties. The same long line, The Legend of Zelda to say. The newer games such as Fable, Morrowind and Fallout are the next generation of RPG development that is more focused on character education.

This is the list of my top 20 RPGs of all time. If it is not one of these games and you're a big fan of RPGs I would recommend you check them out.

Grandia III Overview

Sky Captain Schmidt was a legendary flyer who could fly faster and more beautifully than anyone in the world. Although he has nearly faded from the memories of most, he is still an inspiration to a generation of aspiring young pilots. On a small island in the middle of the sea is Anfog, a quiet and peaceful village. And tucked away in a corner of this village is a simple garage, from which the sounds of hammering can frequently be heard. Inspired by tales of Sky Captain Schmidt, a young man named Yuki is building his own airplane. Someday Ill leave this village and fly over the sea, all the way to the mainland, he thinks. Yuki stares at his Flight Unit, the magical orb that provides power for all airplanes, his eyes distant as he imagines the vast sky stretching out in front of him. In the woods not far away, a young girl rides alone on a horse-drawn carriage. Her name is Alfina, and she is a Communicator, one of the few who can speak with the Guardians, the giant beastlike gods that protect the citizens of this world. She is hurrying to the temple at Arcriff to take the place of her brother, who has disappeared. As the world faces the greatest danger it has ever known, fate brings these two young people together. Not a game for a real Grandia or RPG fan - Arcanas -
Honestly, I was very excited to play this game, because I loved Dreamcast's Grandia II so much. MAN was this a let-down. The battle system of course is fun, because it's the Grandia system, but it has little else. Let me list my problems in order.

1. Happy-Go-Lucky Story - Grandia II's story was a great dark mystery filled with mayhem and death. This story, however, is a chick-flick by comparison. Sure, it had great moments, like when the lightning strikes turned into veins or when the guardian was beheaded, but that was it. Nothing seemed to happen, and it was so lame I almost blushed at how embarrassingly bad many of the sequences were. It could have been written by Nickelodeon cartoonists for how goofy the majority of the characters are.
2. Pathetic Characters - The main character is about as cool as the fat kid in the movie 'Up'(because they both want 'adventure'), at least once he hits puberty. The female sidekick is obviously a watered-down one-dimensional version of Elena from G2. In fact, there's only one cool character in the game, Raven, and he's never playable and only pops in the story about 3-4 places and serves no purpose.
3. Extremely short(or way too long) - When I beat this game I watched through the credits in disbelief. Here I was expecting the story to FINALLY get interesting, and it was over! A moderately tough boss with a stupid sci fi name (Xorn) and the game is over. Here is most of the game - Guy likes planes, guy helps girl he likes, her brother kills a guardian, guy leaves his mother and she's sad, brother has change of heart after releasing Xorn and he's turned to glass, you avenge, the end. Speckle in forgettable characters like Ulm, Raven, Alfonzo, and Schmidt and you have the whole thing.
4. Bland Music - I fell in love with Noriyuki Iwadare's EXCELLENT music for the first two games, so I couldn't wait to hear what he'd do for this game. Even that was a let-down, leading me to believe the entire project was rushed beyond belief. The instrument patches are really cheap sounding and the music is overly repetitive with dry melodies that suck any slight excitement out of the game.

Please take me seriously, I am NOT exaggerating! I'm the guy who sat through Evolution and Evolution 2 and enjoyed them alright - I am not picky with story/acting/etc, and this game was still intolerable. Stick to Grandia or Grandia II. I give this game two stars just because it's the same type of battle system.

huge disappointment - Gimmeadog - USA
Grandia may have the best combat system of any modern RPG, aswell as a solid system for character development. In these respects Grandia is at the top of its class, and it makes the first half of the game a spectacular ride. As much fun as part one is, the second disc is a huge disappointment,

The story is a horrific mess, a little kid could craft a story with more compelling characters and narrative. It is a huge shame because the voice actors are the very best in the business, but their talent cannot make up for the huge mess of a story. Theres not a hint of intrigue or suspense, and either the dialog was translated poorly or the writers were just terrible. The second disk brings nothing new to the system, bring the story down even dumber, and becomes an exercise in frustration instead of fun. There are no extra sidequests or bosses, you already access the strongest spells halfway through the game, and the most annoying enemies are the ones populating the entire final dungeon.

Less than an hour from the final boss I would have thrown it out it was just so bad (and that is where the game should be at its most exciting!) If you are only a passing RPG fan you will hate this game, and RPG fans will be dissapointed by what at first feels like a great ride that becomes a giant mess of a game. Never before has my opinion of a game plummeted like it did while I played Grandia.

meh - R. Schultz - United States
Not up to par with what you would expect for a Square Enix game. Looks okay, kinda boring. Story is so-so. Looks okay. Soundtrack is unmemorable.

Does what all video games are supposed to do - waste time. However, with this game I was aware that I was wasting time.

The only way I would recommend this game is if you've played through all the games at home multiple times, there's nothing else available to purchase, and you have extra money you don't mind spending on the game.

Soars and Crashes - J. M. Cook - Bridgeport, WV USA
I guess I grew up between playing the second installment and this, because whatever fun can be gained from the battle system is immediately marred by mediocre voice acting and an insultingly simple story riddled with what could be the most plot holes I have ever seen in a single game.

Grandia Extreme Review

ah yes i remember when i got hooked on grandia... i was 17 and a junior in high school.. it was xmas and dreamcast was still a system.. i asked for grandia II and i got it. popped it in and it consumed my life for the next 3 or 4 weeks until i beat it... i loved it. so i went on to purchase the first grandia and while i enjoyed the 2nd one better part one took about another month of my life. so then i didnt hear anything more about grandia until last year when i was working at a EB games and grandia xtreme was released. bought it and once again consumed a good 3 weeks of my time. this game is good but part 2 is the best of the trilogy. there is also a game boy grandia titled "grandia: parallel trippers" and while i am not familar with the story i know it is only avaible in japan... which sucks.. would be nice to have sometime to tide me over until grandia 3!!

Xtreme-ly Unmemorable - Eric King -
Grandia Xtreme is the black sheep of the series. It shares a battle system with the other Grandia games, but little else. It's primarily a dungeon crawler. You spend most of your time slogging up and down a few relatively boring dungeons and have very little world exploration or character interaction compared to the first 2 games.

It's story and characters are so uninteresting, that I can't remember a single character or location name. Whereas I can still remember most of the characters and places in the first Grandia game, even though I haven't played it since the year after it was released (years before I played Grandia Xtreme).

If you want a mindless, fairly easy dungeon crawler, or you just want another game with the Grandia battle system, then this is your game. But most likely, you're better off looking elsewhere. Had it been the first Grandia game made instead of the 3rd, it might have gotten better ratings.

ok, but much worse than the original grandia - T. P. Le - fairfax VA
i bought this game because grandia for dreamcast was one of my favorite games ever, because it was so simple and fun. grandia extreme however, was a major disappointment. though the graphics are a little bit better (the characters have mouths) and there is voice acting, the game itself had many flaws which prevented it from being enjoyable. i just liked to battle for the most part, and the battle system, which is why i like the game so much in the first place, is the same, which is a good thing. however, there are very few save points, and you could be running around for hours without being able to save (which you could only do in the village); some of the battles are pretty hard and you have to battle A LOT before you fight any boss, so theres a high chance of you dying and therefore wasting 1-2 hours of gameplay easily. also, you cannot upgrade skills or mana eggs, or even equip such specialties unless youre in the village which gets kind of annoying, since the actual equipping of these items take forever to get a hold of. another thing is the camera angle of the game; unlike grandia of DC, there is a very small area that you can see, it takes way too long to rotate view and it wouldve been a lot better if there were a button you could hold down to walk (or run) like in the DC version. as a result, playing this game, just moving around gives you a big headache. finally the story is just horrible, it made no sense and gets on your nerves; while the story of DC's grandia wasnt amazing, it was enjoyable. also the voice acting is terrible. i give it 3 stars because the battle system. if you just love to beat up on stuff, rent this game first.

I've had better... - T. LaPonte - Connecticut
Graphics. Fine, some load times are a little slow, but pretty normal for a PS2 RPG.

Gameplay. Interesting changes from the previous Grandia games. It's a little annoying that you have to be in town (of which there is only one), to change magic or skills, but all in all an enjoyable system. Bosses are actually challenging in this one. A few of them I had to play over again because I got whooped (including the final boss). As an aside, there are only 5 dungeons, of which 4 you are required to play through more than once to acquire all side quest items, and level up enough to actually be able to defeat the final boss.

Story. One word. WEAK. There is virtually no character background. You are not given more than a few snippets of how the "team" interacts with each other. At the beginning of the game, it was much more interesting. The different characters from different cultures who were once at war are thrust together to achieve a common goal. They fight and the hero, being the only one with virtually no national bias is named the leader (of course). But then we hear NOTHING about any of this for the rest of the game.

The whole Ranger thing was described so much better in the GAME MANUAL than it was in the actual game. You see, these Rangers, of which our hero is, are the only people who are able to travel through Geo Points. It's the only way to get out of dungeons and to get into certain ones. Anyway, Evann (the hero)'s father was also a Ranger, and at the beginning of the game he is not very good at doing the whole Geo Stream thing, and he is conflicted about it because his dad was apparently a great Ranger or something. But the thing is, once the gameplay begins Evann has abslutely no trouble using any Geo Point and nothing is ever said again about his doubts in his abilities.

We get these hints of character backgrounds and motivations at the beginning, but once the game gets going nothing develops of them. A handful of the other playable characters have personal feelings about the mission, as their lives were personally affected by it, etc., but once they have told their bit we hear nothing from them for the rest of the game. I got more of an insight into the characters' "character" from their battle behavior than I got from cut scenes.

And the cutscenes themselves were a bore. Once we get into the REAL mission (because there is always a REAL mission) it is just the same recycled garbage for the rest of the game. I don't think I will ever care to hear anyone ever say anything about "human individuality" again (this is an obviously anti-communist propoganda game, possibly made by the Japanese government to brainwash it's populace into fearing socialism, so it can continue it's post WWII tradition of comsumer culture and passive American attention, an idea that seems silly until you realize how sucky this game is, and how it obviously was developed by people who had no idea what they were doing, ie, goverment politicians). See, the ancient people of this world were trying to create perfection. Paradise on earth, (futuristic distopia? *nudge nudge*, eh?) you know the drill. So they experimented and created this being (Quanlee), who of course becomes the villain, because the only way he can make the world perfect is to make everyone his mind slave. Honestly, I started muting the game and not bothering to read the script anymore after the first ten times Dean Cain, er, I mean Evann started arguing with Quanlee about it (though I have to say, All-American voice actor boy, Cain, is the perfect choice for representing the Western World's symbol for Capitalism over Communism in this Japanese government's cautionary tale of giving too much power to socialists).

Oh, and the voice acting... I don't think I have ever played a game with worse voicework. Dean Cain, as we all know and not so much love for his Television role as Superman, sounded like he was reading the script for the first time when they recorded. He put pauses-where-pauses-shouldn't-go, and he EMPHASIZED-the-last-word-in-every-SENTENCE.

Luke, er I mean, Mark Hamill, did a much better job, though I stopped seeing Krutz, Kertz, er, Kroitz, yeah that's it, because after a while I started closing my eyes whenever he started talking and imagined The Joker from the Batman animated series. First, because that's the voice he was doing (yes, people, that was him doing The Joker), as it was impossible to avoid knowing this fact, and secondly, it made everything he said that much more entertaining.

Lisa Loeb. I liked her a lot more when I realized she did the voice of Lutina and not Diene. Not only was Diene terrible as a character (and as a name, "Diene?!"), her voice was also terrible. Lutina was a little better, and I can't blame Lisa for the fact that Lutina's character was under-developed and had weak combo attacks...

That said, the only redeeming characters in the game are the lovable Titto and Myam. Titto, as his name would suggest is a young adorable knife wielding elf who hits three, count em, three times every attack, instead of the standard two. He is the most honest and likable character when lame discussions are going on between the parties. He's kind of like the son you see crying when mommy and daddy are fighting. You just want to reach down and give him a big ol' hug and pinch on the cheek. Then there's Myam, who absolutely rocks. She is by far the most fun of any character in battle. Her pouty antics in storyline scripting aside, when she falls flat on her face after shooting her arrow attack, NEVER GETS OLD! And when the battle goes quickly and she is the one who does the final blow, her statement is priceless (I won't spoil it here, because I could not possibly do it justice in written form, all I WILL say about Myam's battle tactics is... "Vroom Vroom Vroom!").

And finally, Side Quests. Or should I say, Side QuesT. It's just the one, with no real point. You are charged with collecting sound bites (and incidentally ryo-ohki-esque animals called carros, who dance to music made from said sound bites) for a group of incompetent musicians who are incapable of composing anything worthwhile unless some teenaged Ranger brings them objects that make odd noises... After you beat the game another mini-game opens up (as well as another song to be made from sound bites, but we won't go into that here). Oh, yes people, the fun doesn't stop just because the evil has been vanquished (where did Kroitz go, anyway?), oh no. You get to keep going because Quanlee lost his heart, it's in music form at that... *rolls eyes* Ok, I lied, I got into it, but anyway, this mini-game is just that, mini. You get to go to Juston (possibly an allusion to the first Grandia game's hero, Justin, though he shares no other real similarities after the name and red hair)'s house and play an over-priced slot machine to never win under-valued items...

So, if Grandia Xtreme were a student in a class that I was teaching (keeping in mind I am not a teacher) and I gave it an exam, here is how it would score:

Graphics: 7.5 (average)
Gameplay: 8.0 (innovative but sometimes annoying)
Storyline: 8.0 (a suprisingly high potential)
Plot: -5.0 (when you get high marks for story potential and you don't follow through with a decent plotline you lose points)
Character Development: 0.0 (there is none)
Voice Work: 5.0 (hit and miss)
Side Quest and mini Game: 5.0 (virtually pointless, difficult and unrewarding)
Bonus Questions: 3 of 5 correct (I figure it would have to know some general knowledge to give it an edge in my grading criteria, as I do not like to use the grading on a curve method IN MY CLASS!)

Total:

~3.91 + 3 point bonus = roughly 7.0
-1 for dropping the "E" in "extreme"
+1 for being a pre-Squenix Enix game...

=

a whopping 7.0 ladies and gentlemen!

It passed, barely...

Fun, but a step down from its predecessors - John Markley - Oak Lawn, IL USA
First, the bad news. The story of this game is almsot nonexistent, and what is there is pretty dull the characters are all utterly one-dimensional. That's a huge disappointment, considering how strong the previous Grandia games were in those areas. Also, the voice acting is hilariously bad.
However, the combat is a lot of fun, and all the different stuff you can do to improve your characters is pretty addictive. It definitely falls short of previous Grandia games, but it kept me playing anyway.

The Playstation is widely regarded as the console, role-play brought to the mainstream, and this rating is well deserved. Revolutionary 32-bit graphics that lets players connect with their characters in a way that was never possible with prehistoric machines, how it develops from the ugly blob pixelated images of staff interacts with the environment around them and displayed real human emotions. The processing capabilities of the system also offered a series of gameplayOpportunities beyond the traditional side-scrolling archaic titles like Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda.

This innovative gameplay in a game supported by RPG was announced fantastic, and in this sense we count the five best RPG for Playstation One.

5. Xenogears

Xenogears is an ambitious project for Square, taken from traditional RPG elements and to engage instead, rely on his rich storytellingPlayers. The game is a complex experience that requires you to think for themselves, because the plot is a dense novel, the similarities with the anime, he asks many questions and few answers. The protagonist is a powerful warrior named Fei Fong Wong, who is, despite its name cliché character very interesting and unique. An amnesia remembers nothing of his past, is the village of Fei by a band of rebel soldiers who are trying to attack a robberyrobot dangerous weapon known as "Gear".

The graphics of Xenogears looking as beautiful as an anime and its characters and the plot takes you will be thrilled more than 50 hours to complete. Xenogears is not as good as Final Fantasy to be known, but deserves a place in the library of anyone who is considered a fan of RPGs.

4. Vagrant Story

A game that is different from others on the list because of its multi-genre appeal, VagrantHistory is a minor, has announced that the recognition deserved title of greatest RPG of the time. Mixing elements of a traditional Japanese RPG with the up-tempo pace and style was an action game, Piazza's efforts to obscure and cinematically interesting game a great success. Vagrant Story is based essentially a dungeon crawler, but it is this monotony by introducing a brilliant battle on combo attacks and strategy for users. The game is surprisinglydifficult and unforgiving to new players, but for those who have offered the challenge of Vagrant Story is a very exciting gaming experience that is not duplicated on the Playstation One.

3. Final Fantasy VIII

Final Fantasy VIII had long to live. His predecessor, continues to be one of the best games of all time, and everyone expected this trend VIII. He did. Final Fantasy VIII was another wonderful achievement by the Wizard of space andwas so influential as the games that came before him. The first Final Fantasy feature realistically proportioned characters, VIII, also had a history of more mature and fun to find in an RPG.

The protagonist, a stoic, moody teenager named Squall, which is formed at Balamb Garden, a member of the elite band of mercenaries known as the seed. If this is not enough to wet your appetite, plays one of the biggest weapons in the history of games:Gunblade. Final Fantasy VIII was an exhilarating experience that has earned its place in this list.

2. Chrono Cross

Chrono Cross is one of those games, developers must have given equal doses of excitement and fear. It 'was the follow-up to Chrono Trigger, which will develop a fan base when it was published in 1995 for the SNES. Chrono Trigger is a monumental game for the SNES, and top with a worthy successor could not be easier.Square-Enix was up to the challenge, though, and has published a game that, if possible, was even better than the original.

The game has a unique history, the parallel worlds, and the gameplay was fast and exciting, the choice of enemies on the field, instead of random encounters. Despite the criticism and claim great popularity, was never a sequel to Chrono Cross, as the developers probably decided that it was impossible to improve the perfectiontwice.

1. Final Fantasy VII

Shocking, is not it? Hailed as one of the best video games ever, it is no surprise that Final Fantasy VII sits on top of this prestigious list. The work of art and level design is challenging and, at the time of its publication (1997), the innovative graphics. The soundtrack, once again courteousy by Nobuo Uematsu, is nothing less than great.

A unique and fascinating characters through the brooding and iconic now outCloud Strife and his counterpart nefarious Sephiroth danced their way through a beautiful and compelling story that has never been crowned in 13 years. The title has generated many imitators, but it is always just one: Final Fantasy VII

Honorable mentions: Grandia, Final Fantasy IX, Person 2

Grandia 2 Review

Grandia II is a great game that deters from what Grandia is supposed to be about. Unlike Granda 1, 2 is a quest for truth, a pilgramige undergone by Elena and Ryudo and companions as the search for the truth behind the gods of the world.

Granas and Valmar are the two Gods who warred against each other in the past, thus devestating the world and as a reult, creating the Grana Cliffs. Now, years later, the world is dying. Farming is not sucessful, and people seem to be losing hope.

Elena, a songstress of Granas seeks out a resolution to this by singing in a tower, to the north of her home village, though in the process something goes terribly wrong. Millenia is created, the dark side of Elena, who falls in love with the main character Ryudo.

The voice acting in the game is well done, apart from the annoying Roan, and deep throated Mareg. The scenes can be very emotional at times and do not feter from the plot at all.

The truth will be revealed in a shocking way, but I will not spoil it for you. There are many twists and turns in the plot that are often unpredictable, and suprising.

If you want a great game to play, that lasts for approx 40 hours, then I seriously recommend this game to you! The deep and moving story will draw you in (that is after Ryudo gets over his big ego) ...

WARNING for potential buyers - Atomic Tofu - In my heart
I'm sure this game is fairly good. That said, I need to issue a notice and warning to all potential future buyers of this product.

It is not by fault of any seller really. It seems to be with the game publisher and manufacturer. Ubisoft is not known for customer support as they don't really believe in it. Quality control for most if not all of their products seem non-existant.

Do a thorough internet search and you'll get a feel that about 25-35% of people cannot install this game due to faulty manufacturig processes. So be warned.

A true player you are a professional or a person who is playing for fun, is not part when it comes to games. A real player is the ability to see the "pro" and "cons" of each console and is able to enjoy all. Game is more or less an art form, and although some artists in various types of art, spread them all appreciate all forms of art in general. Now I am an avid player of games when I get my hands on a NES controller, and as I grew, Ihave learned to distinguish what to decide each of the major gaming companies, most said their involvement in course, all this is in my opinion, but I think every player can truly appreciate.

Now my first issue of the Xbox 360 would be. Yes, it was probably issued before it was ready to be released, what about all the hype surrounding the "Red Ring of Death" and things like that would have been avoided if the time for the hardware and the search had a bit 'softwaremore, but this is probably my favorite of all systems. Well, the fact is that Microsoft and its Xbox system that separates America-based company that until the Xbox came out, was not the best place to make games. You must sign in with the likes of Sony, the games of the first CD should take place to the next level games for Nintendo, and of course that was in the gambling business for more than ten years before the appearance of SonyPlaystation. Sure, he had some smaller competitors, such as Atari, Sega and others, but this is not the point.

Sega put a good fight, but his credibility was with the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast (I broke really loved the Dreamcast, but obviously not most people) or so, Microsoft has experienced some competition out there, and since this is only their second console system, I think they're putting up a decent fight. Well, the question of Microsoft fameObviously the Halo series, one of the main reasons I bought the Xbox 360 was, who was eager to get their hands on Halo 3. Well, Microsoft clearly has a death grip on the seven games, as I think most people are Windows-based operating systems, most if not all games are compatible with. We took them on their console, so that the birth of the Xbox Live network, which includes all next-gen systems of today and changed tothem.

Microsoft Xbox and this only gives an advantage over others because they have their origin or at least popular, the idea of online gaming console. I think the PlayStation 2 had something that allowed for online play, but was never very popular in my opinion. Now professionals with the Xbox 360, the process controller much smaller and lighter then the original Xbox controller, which was great, it is. It 'fairly compact, at least on the PlayStation 3, and canfit easily anywhere. The graphics are decent, and have many wonderful titles such as Fable, Halo and Left 4 Dead, which are probably their main breadwinner, ever in my opinion. The disadvantages are that if it is vertical, it is easy to hit. I lost my copy of Halo 3 first, because my dog bumped into the system, knocking over, and the CD has removed from its track, but I scratched very strong. Also you have the red rings of death, what a lot ofThe frustration came. Overall from a scale of one to ten, I think the 360 should have control, especially because it mixes in fun game play to boot with good graphics.

Now go to the Nintendo Wii, by far one of the best funny video game I ever played. Of course, not very heavy large volume, as well as Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but play all their games fun even if they seem a bit 'childish. The idea that objects within theGame mostly controlled by their own movements is quite brilliant, and games like Wii Fit, Mario Kart and Mario vs. Sonic: Olympic make this their full potential. He encouraged players not to sit on his ass all day, and get up and move. The idea of, the old school games like Super Mario Bros. 3 was downloading, and other games of this fantastic, the main reason why I chose to launch a Wii.

Sure, it sounds like an oxymoron, the purchase of a Next Gensystem to play games so oldie, but eh, that's what I like Nintendo, is first. Well, are related to the Cons, one of the biggest drawbacks is that the Wii is not serious songs, play the way I and my fellow hardcore gamers missing appreciate learned (basically serious RPG like Final Fantasy or shooters like Halo). This is probably the main reason a lot of players do not take it seriously. A second is the lack of graphics. Microsoft and Sony are bothCompetition in the field of realism, we try to make their games look as if all the things we actually in the game, if not make the Wii not so much emphasis on this aspect, there is still one with small, but still, many of us hardcore gamers with games that keep us coming back to play, and play the Wii certainly excels in this.

And finally we come to the PlayStation 3 this reached third on my list, especially since Sony was different from what Ifall in love with the Playstation in the first place, and that was plenty of role playing awesome. I remember that about ten or twelve, sitting on my PlayStation for hours on weekends, games like Final Fantasy 8, Grandia, Legend of Dragoon, and so on, and always wrapped in the story and characters. It 'was very similar to reading a good book, read it and read it, fall in love with her, and then saddened when it ended. This was the same feelingreceived by the vast majority of RPGs on the Playstation. The PlayStation 2 has not been so disappointing, I mean, they had some decent RPG titles like Final Fantasy 10 orphans, and other tracks that I can not remember, but not as many as the Playstation.

PlayStation 3 low scores for the stupid idea to two of the three different systems, incapable of playing games from PlayStation 2 The PlayStation 3 or a base can not even play the games of the past, it wasmade to play only for its capacity of Blu-ray, and the only games for the PlayStation 3. The second scale is only able to play PlayStation 2 and the most expensive of the group can play almost all the most important titles in the last two systems. It seems only in my opinion, stupid, that he would, but again, it's just my opinion. Now, some of the advantages of the PlayStation 3 its beautiful graphics. Almost all the major titles for the PlayStation 3 has excellent graphics, almostThink you're seeing what happens behind a window. The ability to surf the web really, when you go online with the PlayStation 3 is also a very nice feature.

All in all, each system has its own thing that distinguishes them from the rest. The Wii has its fun and the ability to play with its various titles, the Xbox 360 is the closest thing to a mix of visually appealing and replay-ability and the PlayStation 3 makes it nice to sit here andplay their games. At the end you have the good with the bathroom when it comes to gaming, because no system has to be perfect and meet the expectations of every player who acquires them, because we admit it or not wither, we're all a bit 'picky.

Trying to keep my lowest I can through this game, which is a bit 'difficult. :) See how well I can run a low level to do. I may or may not continue to post videos on this path .. Not sure yet. xD depending on whether someone wants to see them. Before this fight bit 'I tried to remember how to play. (Remember, I'm trying to run low .. total of 4 fights before that, and I have not played this game in a year) has a pretty epic ending, However. Many Level upD = End

Video games for over 20 years and I put a lot of time in role-playing games (RPGs) like Final Fantasy (FF). I compiled a list of my top 20 RPGs of all time, which can be found on video game consoles. No PC games are included in this list.

Overall, I like to role play because of his character development and rich texture. With a role play I tell the developers put some time and effort into developing the game. This isunique feature that makes these games more exciting and fun than your regular shoot'em up game.

Top 20 Games Role:

20th Grandia - Playstation
19th Lunar: The Silver Star - Sega CD
18th Dragon Warrior III - Nintendo
17th Xenogears - Playstation
16th Phantasy Star 4 - Sega Genesis
15th FF II - Super Nintendo
14th Suikoden - Playstation
13 Xbox Fable -
12 ° FF X - 2 Playstaton
11 Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - SuperNintendo
10th Chrono Cross - PlayStation
09th Secret of Mana Nintendo - Super
08th FF IX - Playstation
07th FF III - Super Nintendo
06th Fallout 3 - Xbox 360
05th Legend of Zelda - Nintendo
04th Final Fantasy - Nintendo
03. Fable II - Xbox 360
02. FF VII - Playstation
2001. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for Xbox 360

As you can see there are several titles that often arise in the RPG world. In general, any Final Fantasy game will be a good game becausea lot of development of each book to another. Final Fantasy is a long line back to the eighties. The same long line, The Legend of Zelda to say. The newer games like Fable, Fallout and Morrowind are targeting the next generation of roleplaying games, with more development on character education.

This is my list of Top 20 RPGs of all time. If not one of these games, and you're a big fan of RPGs, I suggest you check out.

Is-as much as the Playstation games console RPG brought to the mainstream, and this assessment is also gained. Revolutionary 32-bit graphics allows players with their characters in a way that was never possible to connect with prehistoric console, as develops from ugly blob pixel images of staff that interacts with the environment around them and see real human emotions. The processing capacity of the structure has offered a number of gameplayOpportunities beyond the traditional side scrolling archaic titles like Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda.

This breakthrough gameplay in an era of great role-playing game opened defended, and with this thought, then count the five best RPG for Playstation One.

Fifth Xenogears

Xenogears is an ambitious project for Square, drawn from traditional RPG elements, and to strive instead to rely on their rich storytellingPlayers. The game is a complex experience that is thought to themselves, as the action of a novel high-density tissue that shares similarities with Japanese Anime, requires that, many questions and answers, a few phone calls. The protagonist is a mighty warrior named Fei Fong Wong, who is, despite its name a single click and the character very interesting. A Amnesiac, which is nothing of his past, recalls village Fei, a band of rebels attacked soldiers trying to stealRobots as dangerous weapon "Gear" known.

The graph in Xenogears are looking better as an anime and its characters and plot are excited about the more than fifty hours, you learn to take everything to complete. Xenogears perhaps not as well known as Final Fantasy, but it deserves a place in the library of anyone deemed a fan of RPGs.

Fourth Vagrant Story

A game that is different from others on the list because of its multi-genre appeal VagrantStory is a title announced less, gained recognition of the greatest RPGs of the time. And combining elements of a traditional Japanese RPG with the up-tempo rhythm and styling an action game, the efforts to the streets to film a dark and interesting game was a complete success. Vagrant Story is essentially a dungeon crawler, but it is this monotony by introducing an ingenious battle combos and attacks on the search strategy. The game is surprisinglydifficult and unforgiving to new players, but for those who are committed to the challenge, Vagrant Story offers an exciting gaming experience that is not duplicated on the Playstation One.

Third Final Fantasy VIII

Final Fantasy VIII had a lot to live up His predecessor, is to continue as one of the best games of all time, and everyone expected this trend VIII. He did. Final Fantasy VIII was another wonderful success of the magician in the square andwas so influential as the games before it happened. The first Final Fantasy realistically proportioned characters feature, VIII was also one of the more mature stories and fun is in an RPG.

The protagonist, a stoic and Moody teenager named Squall, who trained at Balamb Garden, a member of the elite mercenary force known as the seed. If this is not enough to wet your appetite, he is one of the strongest weapons in the history of the Games: theGunblade. Final Fantasy VIII was a thrilling experience that has earned its place in this list.

According Chrono Cross

Chrono Cross is one of those games, because developers must've equal doses of excitement and fear. It was the follow-up to Chrono Trigger, which quickly developed a cult when it was published in 1995 for the SNES. Chrono Trigger is a monumental game for SNES, and following with a worthy successor could not be easier.Square-Enix was up for the challenge, however, and has published a game that, if possible, even better than the original.

The game features a unique texture with parallel worlds, and the game was fast and exciting, choice of enemies on the field, instead of random encounters. Despite the immense popularity and critics claim, there never was a sequel to Chrono Cross, as the developers probably has decided that it was impossible to improve the perfectiontwice.

Before Final Fantasy VII

Shocking, is not it? Celebrated as one of the best video games of all time, it's no surprise that Final Fantasy VII sits on top of this prestigious list. The work of art and level design is inspired, and at the time of its publication (1997), the graphics were innovative. The soundtrack, which is still courteousy Nobuo Uematsu, nothing less than excellent.

A wonderfully fascinating and unique characters, led by brooding and now iconicCloud Strife and his counterpart nefarious Sephiroth danced their way through a beautiful and compelling story that has never been crowned in the 13 years since then. The title has generated many imitators, but it is, and always only one Final Fantasy VII will.

So be warned.

very good RPG for pc - matt.mingkee - Brooklyn, NY United States
I'd say this game is cool for pc
with GF4 440MX, use 1024x768 resolution, the graphic is excellent, even dreamcast don't match
the gameplay is nice, 360 degree is a big help, AI option may speed the battle up or screw up, by your choice
if you ever played dreamcast or PS2 version, and your pc has decent config, get it
my config
AMD XP 2500+
2x256 2CH DDR
GF4 440MX

USB gamepad is more recommended

in addition, it runs well in xp
